The Best Antivirus?

Which Anti virus do you think is the best one for your computer?

According to me its AVG free. Its better than Symantec cuz I have experienced that. AVG detected 5 threats in my C drive whereas Symante wasn't able to detect any one. I recommned AVG free.

AVG for me too. Just one question that I would like to ask. Are you trying to pull off a stunt by running two Anti Viruses simultaneously on one system? Do remember that Symantec is very concious about other Anti Viruses in its vicinity just like windows is!

I do like stunts !!! But not this time, I uninstalld Symantec then I used AVG.

Great. Norton sucks. BIGTIME! Avast is also pretty good but AVG is miles ahead of all these folks especially with the free versions also doind great keeping in mind Indians who hardly spend on these seeminglu useless products.

AVG....well its good but not as good as you guys think....i guess nod32 ,avast and bitdefender are much better than AVG.....I'm not a big fan of Norton(the only reason is that its a little resource hungry)...just to show you guys, here are some of the things not present in AVG:
It didnt pass W.C.L Level 2 test...
It does not have script blocking service
No p2p file sharing protection
No Registry startup protection
No program updates(and i am not talking about virus defination updates)
No notification in case of a virus outbreak


so dont you think Avast and Bit defender are much better...!!!well i use Norton but I'll definately swich over to bit defender...!!!!

Just one question, are you willing to shell the money on Avast as in as far as I know it is only availible for a month for a trial after which you need to pay for a license?

Brother I am paying the price of having NORTONs on my compu. My 40 GB hard disk is still JHOOLING. Because of this Norton's. And AVG detected the bloody spysherrif. I dont have much to do with all the things which bit defender has.
So TAB TAK KE LIYE USE KARTE RAHIYE AVG.... FREE HAI BHAIYYA!

Please NO! Do not pull of stunts like these. Well you won't have any problems installing it but once you do then you open the Pandora's Box of problems. You see dear this Norton thing is firstly heavy and more importantly it is very keen to keep its surroundings free of any other antivirus.

Thats alright but I have seen the two installed in my deptt. computer lab. And I feel a little inferior when I see that a Tuchha Lab caretaker can install that why cant I ?

Dear then what on earth will be the difference between the 'Tuchcha' caretaker and you? For God sake do no do this. It might just as well leave bad sectors on your Hard Disk and I presume you are exploding with those after your recent brush with a few viruses, which apparently didn't need to attack you, you yourself got them in!
