A 'wet'eran at this!!

So I,once again,have been facing the consequence of residing in the great state of Bihar.Let me tell you that it has been raining here for the past three days and,finally,when we got out of bed this morning,we put our feet in ankle-deep water!!So,it's flood-time again in my city.Mind you,my house is on quite a respectable plinth i.e. it is at a good altitude,yet it is filled with water upto the ankles.It's absolutely impossible to live in such conditions,so we decided to shift to my aunt's place which is at a higher(and drier!)place.....but,as we got out of the house,we were in knee-deep water!!There's absolutely no way cars can move in so much water,hence we had to walk for quite some distance before we could get a means of transport.Now,that is what I call treading troubled waters,quite literally so!!
Maybe that's the price you got to pay for living in Bihar!..anyways,am just waiting for the water to recede so that I may get to the tedious job of cleaning up the house of the mess the water will leave behind!!

Naah man,indeed my house does resemble a pool of water but I am not radopoding from there.I mentioned in my last post that I am at my aunt's place and I have all the time in the world there to stick to Radopoding.
Anyways,the rain gods have not yielded yet and it is still raining heavily here.The meteorological department has predicted more rain in the next two days so there is little chance of water receding in the next couple of days.The state govt. is doing little to solve the problem...and to think that the Ministry of Urban Development is considered to be among the best ministries of the Nitish Kumar govt....This place can never get better,can it??!!

Well,this 'wet'eran's wet run is finally over!!After about 10 days of occupying the streets,water finally receded and my house was worth retreating to.Have been involved in the cleaning operations for the past two days!!...and with id approaching,I am dead tired!And then,the university will be opening soon,followed by the traumatic-for-me mid semesters.I guess another wet run might be on the verge of starting,the sort that comes out of the eyes!
