A really strong point and one that I completely agree with.
Really interesting start Mohsin. Still 2 years away from the Big Day but would love to gather as much knowledge as I can before I go for it.

Hi guys !
I would like everyone, who has taken the interviews of the two companies that recently visited the campus for placement, TCS and Accenture, to share their experiences over here. This may be helpful to many people in their future. I think I'll be benifitted as I have to take many more interviews
So who's going to be the opener?
Let me be fair, I will wait for one day and then I'll post my experience, (which was not very godd ;))
"So, Mr. X tell me something about Urself .."

Hi guys
Its been a long time since I posted on Radopod but when i saw this oppurtunity i wanted to be the first one to give my views on my interview. First thing that i want to say is that if you are not selected in an interview its just a matter of being unlucky. Because from my experience i can say that in the TCS interview some of my friends had to face difficult questions regarding C but in my case they didnt ask me a single question on C and still I got selected so it really depends on the interviewer whether he wants brains or communication skills or programming skills or looks or whatever.. So prepare yourself in the way which suits you and inshallah you will get through.
Hope these words come of use to "atleast one person"....

" at leat one person.."
The MJR style
As you said, that luck matters a lot but I think one can modify his/her luck. Like, in the technical interview, try to turn the interviewer's attention to the things you feel most comfortable to talk about and that may even be something non-technical !!
That happened with some of my friends.
I read in the Do's and Donts on a site.
Your attitude is more important than your knowledge
In the case of TCS:
My Technical Interview was a bit easy like Tariq told. I dint let them ask anything regarding C. When they asked, I simply said that I dont know, I read i quite before and dont remember it now.
They in fact askd about general things about internet surfing etc.
And I guess, my Technical interview went well.

I agree with you there,Mohsin.......but I would like to reassert that it's not the sole thing which decides your selectability on a particular day.A lot of luck factor comes into play as well.
Take my case.I am selected in Accenture....but i have been saying this and will keep saying that the interview that passed in the best possible manner for me was the TCS HR interview....the one in which I was rejected!!
So,my advice to all those who need it.....give your best possible performance, but don't get dejected if you are not selected.....because your talent is not trivial enough to be commented on by an interviewer in an interview spanning hardly 20-30 minutes. So,go there, give your best shot, come out ,and relax...leave the rest to God.He always knows what's going to be the best for you.
