Problem in recording speaker's sound in Vista
Problem in recording speaker's sound in Vista
Posted: Thu Aug 13, 2009 2:20 am
Vista is the most annoying operating system developed ever!! I can recall some guys around saying that Vista is great but the humans' 'natural reluctance to adopt new technology' makes it APPEAR bad. Guys.. This idiotic OS took my precious hours!!! Here is what happened
I was on XP before, I would use an application to record the on screen video with the audio. The audio is to be exactly what U hear in the speaker, (without noise), not to be recorded from the microphone. Well, today I had a need to use the application and I was stunned to see that it was not possible! Okay.. I kept my calm, took a long breath and thought that Vista might be having some other 'secret' settings, which are to be fixed and this will work.
I searched everything in the sounds settings but didn't found anything! My last hope was Google. I Googled for around half an hour, there were so many fake solutions.. God.. Then, I came to know that Vista has in fact disabled this feature of recording straight from speakers!!! And thats is why, in the recording devices options there were only microphones!! I was so annoyed at this. After one hour I ended with nothing, but increasing my information, that Vista is just crap!! It has made the simplest task on PC, Most complex!! Microsoft thinks that giving windows a 3D feel will make it more user friendly??
U know what I ultimately had to do? I installed a virtual sound card controller to make the make the audio recorded normally, exactly what U hear in the speaker.
Vista sucks.. I think I will uninstall it asap. and get back to good old XP.
