Mobile Apps for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs
Mobile Apps for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs

Though Blackberry provides the emails and Instant Messaging in the smartest way, but here I am gonna focus on the Windows Mobile based pocket PCs' (smart phones') efforts to bring instant messaging (non MSN) to your palm. And I would say I was a bit disappointed at the scarcity of good apps for the purpose.
In my quest to get a Gtalk client for I mate I met:
Octrotalk:
It was a great application but you gotta pay for the service
Its demo version lasts for 15 days, cool hmm?? Well the $29 would is not an unreasonable price for the great app which provides not only VoIP but Video calling also
And it really works if U have EDGE connectivity. (Dont talk about 3G now).
Agilemobile: Same as Octrotalk but with a bit more pride, they provide demo version for 7 days only, hurrah
Nimbuzz:
The name of the software is nimBUZZ, may be because it gives option of buzzing even when u have closed the app (as if its their unique service :D). Its a sound app but the irksome thing is that it doesnt let u send IMs to people who are offline. Its such a sucking flaw, i just dont understand why have they left this problem unsolved, I dont think it will be a big deal to provide that facility considering it as a very critical issue, because not only ppl stay invisible sometimes but also it helps in sending anybody a small msg and u dont need to open up ur gmail a/c.
Talkonaut:
Right now, I am using the services of talkonaut. Its a reliable application with all the tools and services at hand without enee-penee (read any penny). Talkonaut also provides VoIP but U have to buy credits, after that u can call ur friends on their phones. and further it supports all major IM services.
best pick at this point of time would be
TALKONAUT
And if anybody is aware of some better instant messenger client, do enlighten us, please.
