Analysis of the review by Taran Adarsh
Agree. I would recommend it to every one who appreciates movies showing real life issues than pyaar-mohabbat.
BIAS BIAS BIAS... This movie is a little biased in showing bias. In an attempt to show the prejudice, at some places in the movie, it generalizes the 1% evil to the whole society.
Agree.
All the artists have made the characters alive. They have proved their talents and I am nobody to rank them.
Extra words...
The script is very tight, and all the different stories are very intelligently and seamlessly fused. Full marks for that. The issues raised are of real concern but some scenes and dialogues are queasy and silly, like "Socha tha ki duniya badal denge.." "Meri Louis Philip ki jacket lana.."
Over all the movie is recommended for you if you want to taste a serious movie with heart-touching issues played by some excellent artists giving life to their characters.
Happy watching!!

YEH MERA INDIA is an attempt to explore the real stories behind the headlines. These stories deal with racial bias, communal bias, caste bias, class bias, gender bias, lingual bias and immigrant bias that plague the society. It is a story of one day in the life of 12 people from different strata of Mumbai city, which is a melting pot of cultures.
BIAS BIAS BIAS... This movie is a little biased in showing bias. In an attempt to show the prejudice, at some places in the movie, it generalizes the 1% evil to the whole society.

N. Chandra goes back to his roots - topical, hard-hitting themes - and picks up stories that the common man would relate to. These stories are connected to one another and some of them are disturbing, which only goes to prove that the storyteller has succeeded in drawing your attention to the problems.
Agree.

The film has an ensemble cast and the actors infuse life in their characters. In fact, every actor in YEH MERA INDIA leaves a mark, but the ones who stand out are Anupam Kher, Parvin Dabas, Vijay Raaz, Atul Kulkarni, Seema Biswas, Rajpal Yadav and Smilie Suri.
All the artists have made the characters alive. They have proved their talents and I am nobody to rank them.

If you like movies of this genre then do watch Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008). I will rate it better than YMI. Mumbai meri jaan is closer to reality with fewer silly scenes
happy watching!!
