Internet and Networking Discussions: Facebook's new privacy settings

Few days back, (Ok few months back), Facebook changed the options for the user's privacy. I find the new privacy options more powerful as they increase your 'invisibilty percentage' on facebook. Initially FB didn't provide the flexibilty to hide (even) your status updates from a group of people in your friend-list (a bitter truth is that everybody in your friendlist is not necessarily your friend ). Also the new interface to change the privacy settings is more friendly. The earlier interface was a bit confusing to most of the user (and they never bothered to make any change in it).
Another option that I liked was that you can also specify the friends who would receive notifications of the posts made by other people on your wall or profile.
When I was going through the new privacy options, I remembered a good friend of mine who was asking if some options are provided by FB. And when I responded in negative she started cursing the FB people ;). It seems the FB guys listened to our conversation and so they have come up with exactly the same options. Kudos to FB for caring about to their users need.

Bollywood & Hollywood: Yeh Mera India (a review)

If you like movies of this genre then do watch Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008). I will rate it better than YMI. Mumbai meri jaan is closer to reality with fewer silly scenes

happy watching!!

Software Stuff!: Outlook not working, MAPI32.dll error

I am really pissed off by this problem regarding Outlook, kindly help me out..
When I clicked to start Microsoft Office outlook 2003, I got the following message:

so, I..
1. reinstalled outlook 2003. It dint work
2. uninstalled Office 2003, installed Microsoft Office 2007
3. reinstalled outlook 2003
But still I am seeing that message.
I googled the problem and found out that its a well known problem with a standard solution. As stated by Milly Staples, MVP Outlook, just renaming the file should work, but thats not the case here and with many people. I am infact not able to rename the file. I will give it a try logging into safe mode in sometime.

further when I click on Mail in control panel, I see the following message:

Vista's default program for mailing Windows mail is working fine, but I want outlook. Anybody of any help?

Software Stuff!: Mobile Apps for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs

Though Blackberry provides the emails and Instant Messaging in the smartest way, but here I am gonna focus on the Windows Mobile based pocket PCs' (smart phones') efforts to bring instant messaging (non MSN) to your palm. And I would say I was a bit disappointed at the scarcity of good apps for the purpose.

In my quest to get a Gtalk client for I mate I met:

Octrotalk:
It was a great application but you gotta pay for the service Its demo version lasts for 15 days, cool hmm?? Well the $29 would is not an unreasonable price for the great app which provides not only VoIP but Video calling also And it really works if U have EDGE connectivity. (Dont talk about 3G now).Agilemobile:Same as Octrotalk but with a bit more pride, they provide demo version for 7 days only, hurrah Nimbuzz:
The name of the software is nimBUZZ, may be because it gives option of buzzing even when u have closed the app (as if its their unique service :D). Its a sound app but the irksome thing is that it doesnt let u send IMs to people who are offline. Its such a sucking flaw, i just dont understand why have they left this problem unsolved, I dont think it will be a big deal to provide that facility considering it as a very critical issue, because not only ppl stay invisible sometimes but also it helps in sending anybody a small msg and u dont need to open up ur gmail a/c.

Talkonaut:
Right now, I am using the services of talkonaut. Its a reliable application with all the tools and services at hand without enee-penee (read any penny). Talkonaut also provides VoIP but U have to buy credits, after that u can call ur friends on their phones. and further it supports all major IM services.

best pick at this point of time would be
TALKONAUT

And if anybody is aware of some better instant messenger client, do enlighten us, please.

Well.. I always try to think with my heart and I 'think' its good and safe. [Reference: A Beautiful Mind 1:44:16]
And Yes, there is no good in comparing the maestros, in fact there can never be an absolute comparison. Further, I have deep respect for all the three prodigious talents, so its better to leave the two senior lyricists for time being as this topic is about Prasoon's piece of work.
I was just watching Taare Zameen Par on Zee Cinema.. (No doubt Aamir is great ;)). but the songs gave me goosebumps !!
'Maa' is out of the world, no doubt. Title track is also amazing..
consider..

Kabhi Baatein Jaise Dadi Nani
Kabhi Chalkein Jaise Mum Mum Paani
Kabhi Ban Jaaye Bhole

Sannatey Mein Hansee Ke Jaise

I will be soon opening a thread about Gulzar saab and Javed saab also. Who can never forget Saathiya and Swades
